perl-audio-sndfile (perl bindings for libsndfile)

Audio::SndFile is a perl interface to the sndfile (soundfile)
library. It provides a portable API for reading and writing sound
files in different formats.

See the documentation for a full list of supported file formats. Wav,
flac, and ogg are supported, but mp3 is not.
