This is a general library for event notification. It is part of

the Galago project, a desktop presence framework. Some uses
|
|
include a notification plugin for gaim and amarok.
|
|
|
|
libnotify requires dbus and dbus-glib, both of which are available
|
|
in the SlackBuilds.org repository.
