Pgpool-II is a middleware that works between PostgreSQL servers and a

PostgreSQL database client. It has support for:

|
|
- Connection Pooling
|
|
- SQL Level Replication
|
|
- Load Balancing
|
|
- Limiting Exceeding Connections
|
|
|
|
